Student Research Forum
Convergences in Urban Education
We are excited about another year of interesting discussion about the critical issues surrounding urban education. If you are a graduate student conducting research in urban education, or you know someone who is, then Convergences is an ideal community for sharing your work and receiving feedback in an informal supportive environment.
The research that can be presented and shared by graduate students includes both their individual projects, and work that is connected to their supervisors' projects. We see this event as a great way to build a community of urban education researchers, as well as to allow graduate students to experience leading a presentation, and answering questions about the research in which they are involved. These forums will also allow the CUS community to stay in touch with each other's work in an on-going way.
The first session of the Centre for Urban Schooling's Convergences in Urban Education for academic year 2009-2010, will take place on Wednesday, November 25th, 2009 from 1:00 to 3:30 pm in room 10-2009.
